CALIFORNIA DESERT - 2010
We spent the month of April in Palm Desert this year, where we rented a lovely home on the golf course at Woodhaven Country Club.  A highlight of our visit in 2010 was a day trip to the Joshua Tree National Park in the high desert.  The park album is listed on my home page.

This album contains images of areas in and around Palm Desert in the Coachella Valley, which I describe as a giant oasis of resort areas surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountains, Mt. San Jacinto, the Shadow Mountains, and Mt. San Gorgonio.

The last three images are wide angle shots which require the use of scroll bars to see the entire image.  To see the full image on the screen, at the bottom of the enlargement, click on large size for viewing.
