GOING TO IONA ABBEY Below are photos of our ferry rides over to the Isle of Mull from Oban and to the Isle of Iona from the Isle of Mull. You can see by the photos how blue the water was. Looking out over the Oban Bay from the town. The tour shop, located right there on the bay, where we stopped in to get our tickets and information. Leaving the bay of Oban, on the ferry, for the 45 minute ride to the Isle of Mull. On the ferry, on the deck Candy waiting to see Iona AND THE PUFFINS! Dennis watched from the viewing windows inside the ferry. He said it was too cold on the outside deck! (PS.. and it was over 100 degrees at the time in Los Angeles! LOL) WHAT BLUE WATER! (That's about all we saw too, not many homes just beautiful green hills.) Small village where we got off the buses and took another ferry to the Isle of Iona. Getting on the ferry for a 5 minute ride over to the Isle of Iona. On the ferry for a quick ride over to Isle of Iona. He we are coming into the small port to disembark onto the Isle of Iona.
