|  I like all people, even strangers, though of course I have a special place in my heart for my most trusted person.
|  I'm a svelte, healthy 16-lb. rat terrier mix.

 I'm going to have a birthday in a few weeks and I'll then be 11 years old. Where has the time gone? Of course I don't feel a day over 4 or 5. And I don't look it either, do I? Of course the hearing and vision aren't quite what they used to be...
|  ... but fortunately the ol' sniffer works as well as ever!
|  I adore going on walks and I'm really good at loose leash walking, if I do say so myself. I don't pull and I mostly walk in a straight line. However far you want to go is good with me. I can easily keep up.
|
 When we're in an area that I can be off leash, I'll still stay near you and never run away.
|  I love other dogs and get along well with everyone.
|  It's so much fun to play with other dogs! I like to chase, be chased, wrestle, and romp. And I'll play with humans, too. I'm not a big fan of inanimate objects like balls or other toys... they're not nearly as much fun to interact with!
|
 In social situations, I thrive because I really enjoy being around people. I am comfortable and not nervous just about anything.
|  I have very nice house manners. My only quirk -- if you can call it that -- is that I don't like being left at home alone. Who does? Of course I'd much rather go with you! But when you do need me to stay home alone I might get a little anxious, but even then I don't get destructive or overly stressed.
|  And of course I'm reliably house-trained.
|
 I have just a moderate energy level, so don't expect me to go racing all over the yard like a crazy dog.
|  And ooh ooh ohh, I do love treats! I have learned to do several things in exchange for treats, such as sit, lie down, spin/dance, and quiet.
|  And I'll gladly jump into the air to get a treat!
|
