We highly enjoyed our visit to FORT GEORGE. One of the reasons we visited the fort was to see a special event put on by the Historic Scotland Organizeation. Historic Scotland is the organization that cares for many of Scotland's historic sites, including castles, Abbeys and forts. The special event that was presented by Historic Soctland was a jousting event with knights and horses. The company that did the josting was "THE KNIGHTS OF ROYAL ENGLAND." The jousting event lasted about hour. We then toured the fort and saw the exhibits.
