1 San Jose TemploDSCF3364 This church is about 185 years old. This is the church that I go to on Sundays every time I am in Mazatlan.	2 AlterDSCF3359 The alter in the church with its beautiful carvings and paintings.
3 San Jose TemploDSCF3362 This is the confessional that is used by the peritioners of the church.	4 Beautiful carvingsDSCF3361 This beautiful carving is very old but still has great presence in the church.
5 Holy CrossDSCF3360 Many of the church items are kept in glass cases because of erosion from the heat and salt air.	6 RoosterIMG 5805 The rooster here was a the entrance to the enbarkadaro (a dock). In order to get to Stone Island you have to take a boat which takes about 7 minutes.
7 Mother chicken and babiesIMG 5803 These little chicks were so cute following their mother around at the enbarkadaro.	8 Stone Island beachIMG 5812 This is a view of the beach as you walk down toward Rudy's. There are restaurants lined along the whole length of the beach.
9 Stone IslandIMG 5810 This a good view of how close the water gets to the seating areas for the restaurants.	10 Stone Island DSCF3347 Someone forgot to bring in the chairs the night before. It's a good thing they didn't get washed away.
11 Boats on Stone IslandDSCF3351 This one boat has special meaning because it has the same name as my parents white poodle they once had named Toby. Going to Stone Island was his favorite pass time because he got to run free on the beach.	12 Stone Island DSCF3348 Mum and I walking down the beach toward Rudy's restaurant.
13 Stone Island Restaurant IMG 5823 This is Rudy's Restaurant that my parents and I go to every time we go to Stone Island. He makes the best Mexican breakfast of scrambled eggs, beans and rice.	14 Parents at Rudy'sIMG 5809 Mum and Dad sitting and relaxing at Rudy's waiting for the staff to come.

17 Great Tailed GrackleIMG 5822 This a Great Tailed Grackle sitting on one of tables at Rudy's place. This is the most common bird here.	18 Alfredo's crabIMG 5818 Alfredo lives on the island and often comes to help out at the restaurant. Here he is showing my Mum a crab that he had.
19 Vendor Stone Island DSCF3358 Pool or water inflatables are just one of the many things that are sold on the island.	20 Breakfast DSCF3357 I am enjoying the wonderful breakfast at Rudy's on Stone Island.
