The rooster here was a the entrance to the enbarkadaro (a dock). In order to get to Stone Island you have to take a boat which takes about 7 minutes.

This is a view of the beach as you walk down toward Rudy's. There are restaurants lined along the whole length of the beach.

This one boat has special meaning because it has the same name as my parents white poodle they once had named Toby. Going to Stone Island was his favorite pass time because he got to run free on the beach.

This is Rudy's Restaurant that my parents and I go to every time we go to Stone Island. He makes the best Mexican breakfast of scrambled eggs, beans and rice.

Stone island has many types of birds and these little ones and their Mum roam around under the tables of the restaurants looking for food.
