ORKNEY ISLANDS

The Orkney Islands are located far in the northeast corner of Scotland. Dennis and I were able to see important "ancient" sites there that we would not have been able to see anywhere else in Scotland. Even though it was a long day, (7:15 AM to 9:00 PM) we did enjoy the tour and visit to the Islands.

We went to the bus station in Inverness to catch our tour bus to Orkney Islands.

Here we are waiting for the bus. We had to be at the station by 7:15 AM.

It was a three hour bus ride to Wick. Here we will take a ferry to the Orkney Islands
