LEAVING IONA AND THE ISLE OF MULL On our way from the Treshnish Isles we did stop briefly at the Island of Staffa to see from a distance the Staffa Cave. We were running behind in time with our tour and did not have time to actually go inside the cave. You can see a photo below of the cave from a distance. Visit our PUFFINS TOUR album, Unbelievable tour! 4 on the small tour boat still 5 Here we are coming into the small port to take 45 minute bus ride on the Isle of Mull and back towards Oban. 6 at the small port leaving on the bus now 7 our bus 8 This is after the bus ride, at the small port, to take 45 minute ferry over to Oban. 9 Cheri on the ferry 10 We past Duart Castle again. 11 On the ferry 12 sun beginning to set now LONG DAY! 13 still very calm water, we were lucky :) 14 another OLD castle on the Isle of Mull 15 coming into the port of Oban 16 looking out at the bay 17 seeing homes, BUT UP ON TOP of this hill is one of Oban's landmark's. 18 "No we are not in Rome!" McCaig's Tower (a replica of the Coliseum) 19 LOOK AT THE JELLY FISH! 20 A BIG JELLY FISH! 21 leaving the ferry 22 23 THERE'S DENNIS (in blue coat) IN THAT FUNNY HAT OF HIS! 24 on the pier going to get dinner 25 we heard a pipe band at the pier 26 looking back at the ferry we just embarked from 27 Where we ate dinner at. GOOD FOOD! 28 looking out at Oban bay from the restaurant 29 Dennis enjoyed the view of the bay.
