t-b, Mle1890, 1892, 1916 carbines top: Mle1890 cavalry carbine, all matching, original cleaning rod, note length of stock forend almost to the muzzle, (this model did not take a bayonet as the cavalry of the period were issued sabres) & the sling attachments which are the correct original locations for this gun. Middle: Mle1892 Mosquetoon, all matching, original configuration w/cleaning rod, note shorter forend & front band to take the Mle1892 bayonet. Bottom: Mle1916 Mosquetoon, all mattching, original configuration w/cleaning rod, the changes to the 1916 were the addition of a handguard & the extended 5 shot mag capacity over the 3rds of the Mle1890 & 1892
