SOLD- What a great find! Not only a set of forbidden fruit but a black set! The black forbidden fruit is the hardest to find, and this set is awesome. Black Lucite pears embedded with black (jet) faceted rhinestones. The gold tone stems and leaves are enhanced with white enameling. (The leaves were only partially enameled, this is not enamel loss.) This set dates to the 40's or early 50's and it is believed they are of Austrian origin. All pieces are very dimensional, and I have included a side view of the brooch to show this. The pin measures 2 1/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches and the clip back earrings measure 1 1/4 by 3/4 inches. All pieces are in excellent condition, showing very minimal wear.
PS: If you have been thinking about adding a black piece to your forbidden fruit collection, don't let this "set" pass you by. They really do not turn up very often. $125USD

Fabulous signed EISENBERG set features clear rhinestones in a pretty flower design. It is accentuated with icing that is so reminiscent of Eisenberg. Earring have a large rhinestone with the icing over the the top. Lovely set! Brooch measures 2 inches and clip earrings measure 1 inch by 1/2 inch.
Note: a few of the settings are cloudy, and due to the construction, I believe it is best, since there would be no way to ever replace the stones under the icing, not to mention it is an authentic look for the age.

NOT D&E- Mr Delizza took another look and changed his mind...Delizza & Elster Juliana flower brooch and earrings. D&E known characteristics are the eyelets, built in pin assembly, open and closed back settings and the little flowers on the ends of wires, which Mr. Delizza refers to as "trees". A variation of this pin can also be seen in the verified brooches folder at the Juliana Jewelry site. There is a link to this great site in "favorite links" folder.
The pin measures 3 inches long and the earrings are 1 inch by 5/8 inch. All pieces in near mint condition.

Big & bold, this purple, black and red set is very sharp. Created using a variety of shaped settings, including long slender marquis, rounds, teardrops and emerald cuts. Such an unusual nature themed set combiming a starfish and a maple leaf. This Coro set is made with textured white enameling and a round center white cabochon. There are several oval white cabs created inside the design. The pin resembles a starfish, however it has a stem which makes it appear like a maple leaf. Very unusual and very cool! The earrings are smaller starfish with embedded white lucite cabs. The pin is a good size, measuring 2 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches and the earrings measure 1 inch. Outstanding book piece pink DeLizza & Elster (D&E) easter egg demi parure from the fabulous Juliana line. This set is featured In Katerina Musetti's "The Art of Juliana Jewelry" book on page 103. This book states that this set is " stupendous and rare". Created with fabulous long slender unfoiled pink open back navettes, aurora borealis accents and a large easter egg cabochon in hues of pink, cobalt blue, lavender and gold. This fabulous set is in near mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear. Brooch measures 2 1/4 by 2 inches and the earrings measure 1 by 7/8 inches. The jewelry produced was well made, of high quality construction, beautifully designed, and had the look of real jewelry.
This set is absolutely beautiful & features royal-colors of cabochons and clean, clear, sparkling rhinestones. The brooch is constructed of two tiered layers. Absolutely stunning pieces here. Sphinx pieces were signed with their name, or in many cases, with a letter and number or numbers only. All three of these pieces have the letter and number on the backs. There are absolutely no noticeable signs of wear.

This is a beautiful D&E set. The long dangle earrings are just fabulous! The have a large chaton rhinestone, up top, surrounded by smaller rhinestones. Then the bottom portion has lots of rhinestones,a larger stone and beautiful iridescent crystal dangles. These are by far, the largest and pretties D&E earrings I have acquired. The brooch is also very pretty, made with smaller rhinestones and crystals.

Beautiful pin & very pale lavender D&E, Delizza & Elster, aka Juliana rhinestone brooch with pretty filigree flowers accentuated with pink margarita rhinestones. Each of these is topped with a bright pink rhinestone. There are long slender marquis rhinestones in pale lavender and light pink, hot pink chatons and a larger AB rhinestone chaton n the center. The margarita stoneas are hand wired and the other rhinestones are all prong set.
I am stepping out on a limb here, the earrings were previously confirmed by Mr D. as being D&E, so since I purchased this set together, and they are an obvious set, I am certain the brooch is also D&E. It is awaiting verification right now, at the Juliana Jewelry website, album 36, just so we have it on the records for future reference. Known D&E characteristics include built in pin assembly, for prong sets and open & closed back stones.

Very pretty Hobe brooch and earrings vintage set in fabulous colors. The brooch is a two leaf design made with navette and round chaton prong set rhinestones. The navettes are in two colors , a very pretty green and a deep topaz color. Each leaf has a central row of bright greenish yellow stones.
