This was a GREAT castle with the BEST GARDEN OF THEM ALL! This is worth a stop. It is easy to get to from Edinburgh.... train to North Berwick (30 minutes) then bus (10 minutes) from right there to "front door" of the castle.

The bus dropped us off right in front of the castle. The bus ride to the castle was only a ten minute ride.
YES, A THISTLE! The castle had an unbelievable garden that had many BEAUTIFUL plants!
