This past weekend I was in Bloomington, Indiana attending "Pam's Fall Meet" Hosted by my friend Jim Schlick in memory of his late wife Pam Schlick. We had a great turnout, Even if it was raining in the morning, the sun did come out late morning and we all had a great time. A great buffet lunch was served early afternoon to everyone's delight!. I started the trip back home early sunday morning and made the nearly 700mile trip in 11 hour's in my trusty 505 XN6 Wagon. It is allwaye's a delight to se Jim's collection of Peugeot car's all 12 of them!!

Waiting for the rain to stop, so we can get the cars out of the garage!
A '68 404A sedan, '68 204 cabriolet, and '00 406 coupe waiting their turn to see some sunshine.
The 406 coupe - beautiful Pinninfarina styling!!
A few of Jim's model Peugeots, article reprints, and local car show trophies.
Another view of some of the Peugeot models and other automobilia. Most of the models are 1:43 scale.
The guests and their classic autos started arriving as the rain let up and the clouds started to disperse.
The '50 MG TD and '84 Morgan +8 drove in the rain from Nashville, IN to join the festivities.
Jim's pristine '79 504 Diesel.
Jim's '67 404 Coupe & '68 404 Sedan.
Another view of the 404's - both were designed by Pinninfarina.
1950 MG TD and a 1984 Morgan +8. What beautiful examples.
Joe and Linda drove the red Renault GTA from Cincinnati; Ginny and Gary had the top down when they arrived in white cabrio.
Jim's daily drivers - a'91 405S and a '91 405 Mi16 - flank his '01 206XR and '00 406 coupe.
Joe Wagner & Linda Cornell came from Cincinnati, Ohio. It was good to see them again!
The clouds finally started to clear, albeit sloooowly.
Pam's brother Herb and his girlfriend Becky drove from Marshalltown, IA.
Some of the guests enjoying the warmer weather inside the 'Peugeot Polebarn'.
Jim's brother Paul and sister-in-law Judy drove their 2001 Audi TT cabrio from Maple Grove, MN (a northwestern Minneapolis suburb).
Lynn's '77 MGB and Gary's '88 Chevy S-10 pickup.
Bob's '01 BMW Z3.
The sun was finally shining as the guests moved outside.
Pinninfarina stying - in a blue-sky, pre-fall setting.
'01 206XR with an 'interesting' paint scheme.
Jim's '79 504 Diesel looks a little lonely early in the event.
Unfortunately the 'sister' '66 404 cabriolet spent the day in the garage.
Paul and Judy's TT.
The Peugeots returned to the polebarn as the sun moved lower in the sky.
Jim keeping the 'inside' Peugeots company - '68 204 cabrio, '58 403 cabrio, '66 403 sedan, and '66 404 cabrio.
Another view. The cabrios were inside because of the rain and the 403 sedan is waiting to go to the shop.
The Peugeots were getting 'tucked in' at the end of the day.
Another view of some of the automobilia.
A display case with several Peugeot models (plus a Porsche 901 - later renumbered 911 at Peugeot's insistence - or so the story goes).
Jim's '94 Harley Road King and '58 403 cabrio. It would have been something to see Detective Columbo riding a Harley, wouldn't it?
Judy getting the TT ready for the big day tomorrow. See how nice the weather was on Friday.
Inside and outside were sparkling clean!
Jim and Steffen 'helping' Tucker work on Jim's '81 504 turbo-diesel station wagon at Tucker's shop.
More 'help'?
And still more 'help'?
Peugeots, Peugeots everywhere - except for a bit of Harley memoribilia.
Steffen and Jim helping the 404 sedan out for the show. (We wanted to avoid exhaust fumes in the polebarn.)
Steffen welcoming Pete and Fred, the owners of the Morgan and MG TD, to the event while Jim parks the 404 coupe.
Oops! Time for a jump start.

Early in the day.
More good conversation.

Some of the Harley rides - sans their Harleys. The morning ride was cancelled because of the rain.
Herb and Michael in deep conversation.
Finally the sun starts to shine.
'Open wide' - Gary's S-10 has a nice sounding V-8 under the hood.
Several makes and models were on display.
Bob, Susan, Gary, and Jim solving the problems of the world, no doubt!
Laura and Steffen in deep conversation.
Bob and his Z3 heading home.

Patrick, the only other Peugeot owner in Bloomington, owns LePetit Cafe.
The MG TD heads for home.
Becky and Herb, with Herb's daughter Malory, enjoying the sunshine.
More good conversation.
It turned out to be pretty sunny, albeit a bit chilly, as the afternoon progressed.
French and German - side-by-side.
Me with my trusty '85 505 XN6 Wagon, that made the 1400 mile round trip from Richmond, VA in great comfort, without any problems.
Putting away the 406 near the end of the day.
Patrick's Peugeot SW-8 - clearly a 'daily driver'.
