After being bought in the early fall of 2000, this was what the Mark VIII looked like after two years of daily driver service.

These are the original 20 spoke aluminum directional rims.

Good shot of Aquamarine Interior. It is hard to see this as a 100,000 mile plus automobile.

I installed these foglights to assist the poor OEM headlamps.

If you've ever seen the Gen 1 Mark VIII headlights, you can appreciate this photo. This was taken after the heaqdlamps were polished, new Sylvania SilverStar bulbs installed and the installation of the Blazer foglamps to help out the OEM lamps.

The MSD spark plug wires were an upgrade over the stock wires. The red helped break up the blue quite nicely.

The addition of an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and gauge showed the need for a new fuel pump. Of course I chose the Walbro 255 LPH unit.
Enlarge photo 18 AFPR 2
The billet adjustable fuel pressure regulator from LincolnMotorSports was the first upgrade to the fuel system.
Enlarge photo 19 AFPR 3
With an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, a gauge setup was in order. This gauge came from Steeda MotorSports.

The oil filler cap, powersteering cap, and coolant reservoir cap were all billet items from UPR products.

The custom intake tube along with the C&L 80mm MAF and a K&N cone filter shielded from the engine bay heat with the 'IceBox' from LincolnMotorSports.
Enlarge photo 23 Exhaust 1
The exhaust system is a 2-1/2" dual cat-back single x-pipe system from Advanced Race Technologies fitted with DynoMax UltraFlow mufflers.
Enlarge photo 24 Exhaust 2
Quite sinister looking for a Lincoln.
