I've had a few so-called Mopar "experts" tell me there was no such option as a "High Performance Axle Package" available on these cars. Well, here's proof.....second option listed is the "High Performance Axle Package" at the 'outrageous' price of $87.50. This package included: Sure-Grip; H-D Cooling Package; and 3.55 gears. A real bargain. The Sure-Grip option alone was priced at $40 something. Ahhh....to know then what I know now.

One of a few.
The car won it's class (E/XA) approximately 16 times and also took Factory Eliminator Runner-up once. At PID the car was only 'beaten' in it's class once. Those really were the good ole days.
