1 Well, hello Oscar!
2 The entrance to the Kodak Theater - our bleacher seats were right next to the entrance.
3 They were getting ready at 8:00 a.m. The carpets were being cleaned and the flowers were being brought in.
4 Because of the possibility of rain, the Oscars were kept covered until the last minute and then given a final coat of gold.

8 I don't know who she is, but the guys were going gah gah over her so I took her picture.
9 As the morning wore on, the news people started arriving and the red carpet got a little busier.
10 The El Capitan Theater is right across the street - we were invited to the El Capitan to watch the Oscars after the red carpet was over. There were even people coving the red carpet from on top of the sign!

12 My mom and I got interviewed by this guy from a radio station. Unfortunately, in all the excitement, we forgot to ask which station.

16 Things were really picking up on the red carpet - there were tons of news people there taping, but most had to leave at 11:00 a.m.
17 Wolfgang Puck stolled the red carpet with his gold, chocolate Oscars and threw them up into the stands for the fans.

92 I know this shot is blurry, but it was just so sweet - when Felicity Huffman got right in front of the entrance to the theater (see photo #2), she looked up at the "Kodak Theater" sign and the huge Oscar and just started laughing - you could tell she was thrilled to be there. I really wish this one would have come out better.
