Glen Canyon is located in southern Arizona. This park is actually a very large lake "Lake Powel" created by the Glen Canyon Dam. Second largest dam in the US. When we visited the lake had been in a drought 6 years and you can see the white lines above the current water level indicating the usual water levels. Still the lake and dam were breath taking.

20 This bucket held 12 yards of concrete. Millions of them were dumped during the making of the dam.
