We took a day trip in our friends car to a small village about 80 miles south of Mazatlan. (see map on brochure) We traveled in a caravan with two other car loads of people. The name of the place we went is Teacapan (Tee-ack-ah-PAN). On the way there we stopped in the town of El Rosario where there was a very old and beautiful church. While in Teacapan we had a great lunch, with cake for desert even! Then we took a panga boat ride up into the estuary for some bird watching. On the way back to Mazatlan we stopped at a few of the RV parks along the way for future reference.
