After we left the Cortez, Mesa Verde area we traveled to Albuquerque for the International Balloon Fiesta held annually. This was our first time going, we had no idea what to expect. We were overwhelmed by the experience and soon became enthralled with the event. I took over 700 pictures of just the balloons over our 4.5 days at the Fiesta. Here I've tried to scale that down to 100 that I think are worth seeing. So be for warned to spend a lot of time in the album if you see it all the way through.

15 The next morning we went in early and nothing happened until we had returned to camp spots. Then all of a sodden they emerged over the near by buildings.
