Halloween 2018. In keeping with tradition, I waited until the last minute to begin carving my pumpkin.

Since I recently moved, the bulk of my tools are packed away in boxes. I've spent too much time looking for them without results. Now I'm relegated to using ordinary kitchen utensils.

Not having comfortable implements is making the job harder, therefore the progress is slower.

Skinning away the outer edge of the pumpkin is a tedious task. Plus I'm making a mess, since I'm working on a folding TV dinner table. This is hardly a suitable workbench.
