It's a beautiful Friday night in the middle of July. A perfect time to rock in the streets of Glen Cove, with Desert Highway, an Eagles tribute band.

Glen Street and School Street are closed to traffic,so you might as well settle for life in the slow lane.

I didn't keep track of what songs they were performing, so I'll keep the commentary to a minimum.

There are a few eateries in the area, so you can grab a bite to eat, and something to drink while you check out the band. You might even have a tequila sunrise.
