"Okrasa" 36hp 1300cc "BIG BORE Torquer" Engine Kit

 Im offering rebuilt/restored 36hp 1300cc Okrasa style long blocks using the popular W.West 36hp dual port engine kits. I have enough engine parts to build/sell these engines for an outright price. No core or exchange is necessary!  These engine kits are built using Genuine VW blocks from 1956 to 1960.  As an option, earlier blocks from 1949 to 1955 are available for an additional charge due to their rarity, supply & demand.  Send email for specific year availability and pricing.

I start with a bare genuine VW 36hp block that is thoroughly inspected to meet my quality standards. Hot tank, surface prep., drill & tap ALL oil galleys for 100% positive cleaning.  Chem. treat block as per new FACTORY appearence.  Precision line-bore main bearing tunnel, surface cyl. decks.  High pressure wash, ready for assembly.  All factory original German 14mm KAMAX/DURA Black Oxide hardware.  Assembly begins using the W.West "Okrasa" engine kit with new 80mm piston / cylinders, balanced w/ rings, locks and pins, 1pr. W.West Okrasa style heads with 33mm int. X 30mm exh. valves with competition "3 angle" valve job.  All new main & rod bearings.  Reconditioned & balanced forged VW crankshaft.  Reconditioned & balanced VW connecting rods.  Resurfaced & balanced 180mm VW flywheel.  New 36hp W.West performance camshaft with bolt on aluminum gear. (1) pair of new 32mm “Solex” carbs that have been pre-jetted per Okrasa specs. New wire mesh air cleaners. (1) pair new W.West “Okrasa” intake manifolds with balance tube, red neoprene connectors with correct “buckle-strap” clamps. (1) complete W.West linkage kit. Fuel line, intake to manifold gaskets, flywheel gland nut and all the necessary nuts/bolts to install your carb. kit. You clean paint / powdercoat and install your own sheetmetal, generator, fuel pump, dist. etc. and save $$$

OPTIONS:

I also can install a new, aluminum Gene Berg “deep oil” sump for added oil capacity to any engine configuration.  A Gene Berg "Full Flow" filter kit for 100% filtering is also a good option!  A balanced, forged 69.5mm stroker crankshaft w/8 dowelled & balanced flywheel (80mm bore X 69.5mm stroke = 1400cc) is also available! I only accept a $1500 deposit to my Paypal account (mrokrasa@earthlink.net) to get you “in line” along with the other engine builds I have in my current build schedule and the balance is due when your longblock/engine is completed as verified by photos in your online album.  Right now, build lead time for your longblock is only about 10-15 working days! I put together an online photo album that only you can privately view your engine build as it comes together from bare block to complete longblock/engine. No more "wondering" if your engine has a "BIG BORE" pist/cyl. assembly or new or rebuilt heads or line-bore or ???. Everything is right there in front of you to see so there are no "surprises" later on.
