Places In The Heart
This album is the brainchild of Irma Divine.  I mentioned to her that there were some pictures which just did not fit into any of the other categories and she suggested something along the lines of "Where We Have Been" or words to that effect.  So here is an album that will be dedicated to scenes that bring back memories, laughs or maybe a few tears.  It is open to any of you that care to contribute pictures of places that hold a special place in your heart.

I have some pictures for this section as soon as I can round them up.  This is a great idea.

What a great idea!  Although not all of them are familiar to me, I sure remember the swimming hole and I think I also remember the store and of course, the church. Thanks, Irma and George for this wonderful site! It makes my day!!

Yes, this niece remembers the swimming hole!  Uncle George used to walk us little kids down the hill behind the Frey place (Grandma's House) to swim there on many hot, summer afternoons.  I also remember Easter egg hunts at St. John's and hearing Grandpa preach there.  Mom and Dad had a picture of the water mill in Levi Jackson State Park...hanging on the living room wall!  They said that they had gone "sparking" there.

Dad also pastored this church for a short period of time.  As I recall, he preached there on a part time basis, one Sunday per month.

We swam there so many hot summer days when we lived at the Frey Place.  I am sure several of my nieces/nephews have memories of it.
