The planner, the organizer, the one who fought to keep the family together. She will always be remembered for the family reunions she hosted. She married Ray Simmons and they had five children, Donna Lynn, David Ray, Roy Edward, Randall Keith, and Mark Jamison. Etsye died 12 May 2004, two months short of her 84th birthday.
