Lore and Legend
This album is under construction. It will be used to share stories from personal experience or tales that were passed down from Dad or other family members.  If you have any that you would like to share, you may email them to me and I will add them to the album.  My only condition is, that they are true stories (or were told to you to be true) and that they relate to a member or members of the great Williams clan.
Date(s): July 3, 2003. Album by George Williams. 1 - 58 of 58 Total. 899 Visits.

George, I had read all these before but read them again today.  Thank you for preserving these memories for us and for future generations.

Accolades to George again for doing this wonderful project! It's always there for us whenever we feel like reviewing it all. The Lore & Legend page is a real treasure!

Oh, my gosh!  George, this is so moving.  I just got drawn into reading these stories and articles and was really touched by all the work you've done.  I remember Ma telling us about when Grandpa Bowles was shot, and how Grandma (Nannie) went down to the train station to see his body.  Bless you for doing this for the family.

George, I cannot imagine the tme and effort it has taken to put all of this together.  It had to be a labor of love.

Thank you very much for sharing with the family
