George Walton Williams
Well, it's my web site and I can be an egotist if I want to.  Just thought I would share some of the days of yore with you. I was born last, the youngest of the 14 children.  Mom was 46 years old when I was born.  I was named after the two brother-in-laws that I had at that time, George B. Parsley and Walton Beckner.  I have always been proud to have been named after them.
Married Barbara Jean Gilliam and had one daughter, Tammy Sue.
Date(s): July 1, 2003. Album by George Williams. 1 - 148 of 148 Total. 1575 Visits.

George,

Hi. I note that the last comment on this web site was 2003 so I hope it and you are still around to help answer a few questions I have.

You were CO HHC 303rd RR Bn. I was with your Australian counterparts in Nui Dat (547 Sig Tp) and we were assigned to your unit - only nobody seems to know this. If you are able to, would you mind contacting me so that I can ask a few questions? Thanks in advance.

Thanks you, George, for establishing this site for all of us to enjoy. You are wonderful!

What fun.  Plans for expansion?  I have a letter mother wrote home near the end of WWII when we were in Hamilton.  Want a copy?

Irma Divine, Sun, 6 Jul 2003 5:57AM
I did not know you had been at Ft. Devens, MA.  That is where I also spent the first year of my military service, stationed at the Garrison, worked for Gen. Coleman as an admin aide.  OUr barracks were across the street from the ASA barracks.
