PDF Files (May 2006)This is a collection of PDFs is a small cross section of the content that I've had published around the world over the last five years.
In this album you will see how editors in different countries (US, UK, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Italy, Romania and Australia) take the images I supply them along with English language text materials, and craft them into layouts suitable for their own markets. Where available, I've included companion stories side-by-side for your review.
There is a method to my madness in naming each file -- the first letters designate the country the article was published in, the next is a description of the material followed by the name of the publication it ran in.

1967 ISO Rivolta (July 30, 2006)Owned by Eric Sands, this is a 1967 ISO Rivolta Coupe GT, which after buying it a year ago in the Pacific Northwest, proceeded to drive it 1000+ miles back to Southern California. These photos are preliminary photos taken at the weekly Crystal Cove (Newport Beach, CA) car show, an informal gathering of Southern California's best hot rods, muscle cars, vintage cars, exotics and tuner cars. At a second preliminary shoot, I shot the car at the St. Regis Hotel in Dana Point but again, these shots are just preliminary.

1955 Sunbeam Alpine Edited Images To my editors. There are three sets of images in this album.
Images 1-39, color images with a mild tone mapping treatment to give the images a quasi-HDR look.
Images 40-78, same images without the tone mapping treatment, converted from RAW to JPG for highest quality.
Images 79-117, HDR images converted to B&W, to give an in-period, publicity photo look
The rest of the graphics in this folder are screen captures from To Catch a Thief along with movie posters from the film, and actual publicity photos. |
