 enlarge 128KB, 800x533 5 Saturday 29 June. 209 miles. Baden to Anif (Salzburg). Hotel Friesacher. Along the way we stopped to see Joe Willenpart, whom many of us had known when he lived in America. Joe put on an ehthusiastic show for us, with a barbecue, country & western and line dancing groups, and a demonstration of his Lotus. Colin pic.

 enlarge 184KB, 800x533 7 Sunday 30 June. Rest day. A visit to the Red Bull Museum. Lunch at a dirndl factory. Not only does the museum house spectacular cars, airplanes and other vehicles, the architecture is fabulous.

A bit flatter, but heading for more passes, including the Katschberg, in 1912 its steepness the bane of Rolls-Royce and James Radley, but the impetus for many changes made to the 1913 cars.
