Currently investigating the possibility of setting up an English Heritage Blue Plaque to honour Bon Scott's memory. It can't be where he died because according to their rules it has to be where someone lived and/or worked. Read in Classic Rock magazine about Ashley Court and asked Westminster Council if they had any record of what number the flat was. They have no official record but directed me here. Would it be possible for you to let me know how you found out the flat was No. 15 so I can include it in an email to English Heritage? Thanks in anticipation. - Elizabeth, Tue, 6 Dec 2011 5:11AM
these 21 photos are riveting.i have some like them in my bon scott collection.the thought that such a great singer and entertainer could meet his end in such a hellhole is plain shocking, but hell, i guess we gotta go somewhere when we go. the fact that a.k. was too drunk to lift bon and take him inside where it was warm is not good enough for me, for him to be called a friend. friends not only dont let friends drive drunk, they also make sure they dont die of " misadventure" in the freezing cold when they are drunk, some friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - charrison, Fri, 19 Mar 2010 1:41PM
