1967 Camaro SS
This is just some of the problems found on this car. The list is extensive and alot of the work done was very shoddy. The paint came out nice and all the panels that were replaced were NOS GM. So one would expect a Professional assembly job in a reasonable amount of time not a year and a half from a place called BEST OF Show Coachworks.

This picture shows the fenders were not aligned properly before the car left BOS. Steve is very bias about this shop so he must have a financial interest in the place. He constantly locks the posts so no one reply.

This picture shows the bent steering linkage on the old frame. BOS removed the linkage painted it and reinstalled it on the new frame.I wonder if they used there world famous frame gauges on it???

Fender gap gets wider as you get to the windshield. This gap is supposed to be .006 min to 0.18 max! it is .39 that's 3/8"

This is the driver side almost as bad as the passenger side.

Enlarge photo 8

This gap is not as wide as the passenger side but it is still way out of tolerance at .29"

Enlarge photo 9

This is the rear lower driver door it is shut tight. It sticks out from the body a 1/4". A little more time aligning this door would have helped with the front fender alignment.

This fender gap excedes reasonable specs.

This gap is 1/2 inch wide.

same gap as last picture shows how wide it is.

Front of Passenger door. The door rubs on the rocker because they  rushed putting the car back together. Only took them a year and a half. You would think that's plenty of time to align a door!

Lower bumper bolts were not installed.

Driver side gap is to wide.

The Vent window screws were siliconed in. Not to mention they are Two inches to short. Where's the supervision of the assembler? Where's the Quality control?? Would you want your show car put back together this way??

Enlarge photo 21

The steering column was not bolted to the gear. The coupling was missing the bolts.

Frame alignment hole.

BOS installed the clutch and bell housing but forgot to put in all the bolts that were given to them for this.

The insurance Paid for new parking lights and BOS put in the old ones.

They used a lot of shims to compensate for the crooked frame.

Enlarge photo 27

Grill misaligned.

Enlarge photo 28

Emblem holes drilled crooked so the emblem does not line up properly. These guy's are Show car specialists???

Enlarge photo 29

A lot More shims. Don't get me wrong GM used the shims to get the right tolerances.

Enlarge photo 30

How hard is it to line up two parts?? Notice they even put the head light in crooked!

Enlarge photo 31

Misaligned.

Enlarge photo 32

Both sides.

Enlarge photo 35

Hard to see at this angle but the Idler arm is bent and reinstalled.

Enlarge photo 36

How do you damage an oil filter putting a motor on a bare frame that's out of the car??

Enlarge photo 37

Before the car went to BOS

The emblems were strait even after the accident. But not any more.
