Robin, my family and I want to thank you, Russell Rescue and Kathy Sube for saving Davey's life and giving us a wonderful addition to our family.
I don't know what his life was like before he came here, but I can guarantee that his life with us will be full of walks on all different trails and beaches, best nutrition he's ever had, a choice of sleeping wherever he chooses, a doggie door that leads to 1/2 acre fenced yard full of places to investigate, a Mastiff and a Westie pack, and a family of 4 who already love him and are home most of the time. I

Well, it's been two weeks with the new dog known as Porky. It really feels like several months of walking in an old shoe. He is smart although he was kicked out of the town casino for counting cards. We were $o clo$e...
These are the only known pictures of Porkzilla at the beach in his life. The beach may have been another planet to him. He growled at seaweed, drift wood, and rocks. But he loved that tennis ball,... oh yeah.
It's too bad that the money back guarantee expired on Porky, so we'll just have to keep the terrorist in a clown suit and play ball with him. If only he could cook a little better...
Awesome dog. Just what we needed.

Lowfur ~~ADOPTED : ) Congrats to the Sarganis family. here is what Lowfurs new mom says:
Robin,
Well, I thought I'd give you the Lowfur update. He is such a LOVE. He totally follows Brad around when Brad is doing stuff outside. He spent several hours in the front while Brad cut bushes, swept, etc. We have this little leash system which gives him access to the entire front area but he can't get into the street.
At some point during the night, he and Daisy must have heard something outside because they went tearing out at full speed. After about a minute they were back in thier beds. But about 10 minutes later, we got a faint whiff of skunk!
He's been swimming twice now, kinda funny but he seems to get it. I think he's having fun and enjoying his surroundings but I do have a few questions if you happen to know the answers: Did he spend a lot of time outside in his original home or at your house? He seems to love just to hang out on a blanket on the back patio.
He has a way about him that makes you think he just "gets it," but I guess it's just the Jack Russel way. I won't make my next update so long, but if you're ever coming this way, come on by and check out his new home! We can't even express to you how happy we are and how Lowfur has made our house feel like a home again!

Here is an update on how Josie is getting on in her new family.
Seems she owns the place now: ). her Mommy, Lesie is sick and needs to have an operation. Josie keeps her company and sometimes Josie goes for rides in the car with her new Daddy, Lewis. one time she jumped in the shower with him. their friend told me that Josie is a smart one and learned to get her way pretty fast in her new home. shes a great gal and a pawfect fit! lets all send Lesie a "get well soon"!.

"Things are going great since the family has been reunited! Duke is doing great. When he first got here they all started jumping on each other and licking each other. It was a perfect moment. Duke, Duchess & Princess have been all sleeping in one bed, they are inseparable.
We had a birthday party for our daughter and the dogs all wore hats and played with us. we are so happy as are the dogs. We cant thank you enough for all you and Connie, Crystal and Nimmi did to reunite this family!!"

Cofy/Frisco ~~ ADOPTED: ) Cofy who is now called Frisco is living the good life in Southern CA.
Congratulations to the Hyde family!!!
Here's what he new Dad had to report: )
Clara (brown ear in the pictures) and Frisco are incredible buds. They probably wrestle a couple of hours a day, and then sleep together on the family bed of their choice in the evenings - they rotate among 4 different beds. They actually take turns being dominate with each other - often in the same wrestling match.
Frisco is a great walker on a leash; he and Clara also hunt as a team - if there's a lizard on the wall in the back yard, we'll have to carry them both in. They won't quit.
A couple of weeks ago, my son took Clara with him on an errand. I thought Frisco was going to have a stroke - crying like a baby. We had to hold him until they got back. Robin called it - he has to be in a house with another dog. No more staying home while Clara goes. He's met Clara's mother and sister at the city dog park, and that went well, too.

Lucy~~ ADOPTED: ) (November 21, 2009)Lucy was adopted by Amanda Manning. Here is Lucys mom's update for us on how Lucy is doing in her new home. We are so happy to hear the good news!
" It's been a month since she has been without her playmate Ra (our other Jack Russel) and she is loving it! She is the center of attention now. I take her everywhere with me, and everyday after work I take her to the river or park for a walk or jog. She is my little snuggle doggie! Every night she comes in, streches out then crawls under the blankets and cuddles right next to me! She is so much more obidient now that Ra is gone. She does not chew up things as much and she comes when called every time. Her fear of men is still slightly there, but I have introduced her to multiple males at the park or on our street and my friends boyfriends. It has helped tremendously!. I will attach some photos I have on this computer and can forward more later! Her nick name is Goosey, Lucy Goosey, because she is so silly! The kids just adore her and she adores them! Let me know if there is anything else you need! "
