Here's the progression of an inground pool my husband had installed in Sept. '05, fulfilling a life-long dream. I'm sure he'll have more time to enjoy it after retirement--hopefully, sometime soon.

9 Irrigation pipes sacrificed
10 Second day of digging continues.

12 Digging and shaping complete. In total, thirteen dumptruck loads of soil were removed.
13 Day three. Steel walls and bracing constructed.

29 September 7th: Gravel for the backfill arrives.

49 October 7th: After warming for a few days, the pool is tested out by the grandchildren. Caleb said it's warm..........

58 Caitlyn, 4, didn't even like getting splashed at the beginning of the season. By August, she was swimming like a little fish!
I found this very interesting---I only saw it after it was completed. It is a very beautiful pool & something to be very proud of. Not everyone has a pool in their back yard. Barb - Barb Kuck, Sat, 17 May 2008 11:38PM
