VC1 mirror mounting brackets.
Pictures of the two rear mirror mounting brackets. Note that the side mirror bracket mirror mounting hole is tapped to accept the mirror stud. The mirror is a reproduction. The header mirror bracket is not tapped. The header mirror is a reproduction but as you see the mounting stud is not correct. I also included a picture of what remained of my header mirror which was the mounting stud. You can modify the reproduction mirror  by cutting and tapping the mount for a screw and star washer

Reproduction mirror showing difference with the mounting stud. The stud on the left is the only thing left of the original mirror. Note the original stud is not threaded it is tapped for a 10 X 32 machine screw.
