Would you know where I might find some information about a 6 1/2" x 61/2"" green, leatherette hinged box with the front embelm of BILLIKEN.
The emblem appears to be gutta percha and is 4"x2" in diameter.
The gold impressed words,"As Long as I smile at you,bad luck can't harm you.BILLIKEN. U.S.P. Oct-6,02. Germany" are written across the bottom.
Do you have any idea what the box was used for? Why the USP stamp and then the word "Germany." Do you know what it originally contained?Any idea as to age or value?
2 GAY 90's SAUTIOR - 63" long = $95.00 Note: There is a chip out of the 1" facetted sapphire blue stone, otherwise, excellent vintage condition. Could use a cleaning but the new owners can clean, since I don't.

4 The stock has a fantastic vignette of 2 classical male figures flanking an oval-framed company logo. Dated 1940s-1950s. Formed from the National Oil Products Company (see other listing). Later purchased by the Diamond Alkali Company.
In 1967 Shamrock Oil and Gas Company and Diamond Alkali merged to form the Diamond Shamrock Corporation. At the time of the merger, the products of the company were about 20 percent oil and gas and 80 percent chemical. The company expanded its oil and gas exploration efforts in the early 1970s and built several new chemical plants. In 1987, Diamond Shamrock Corporation changed its name to Maxus Energy Corporation.
