The poured glass stopper was maybe a perfume stopper.
Scarce Hattie piece which has also been produced by KJL, in a slightly different use of materials and colors.
The turquoise face and headdress are offset by facetted rhinestones. The mottled,coral beads constrast brilliantly against the goldtone. Excellent condition. Measures 2 1/4" x1 3/4".
39 "Did you know the piano man pin (#9) is the exact same piano man on the cover of Joe Jackson's "Night & Day" album??? I knew I had seen it before so I got the album out and for sure it is the exact same piano guy. Maybe it is supposed to be Joe Jackson? It sure does resemble him. I read the liner notes & all album cover art is done by an artist named Philip Burke. Pretty wild! The little tiny rock artist pins were so popular in the 80's, they used to sell them over the counter at record stores- All of us new wave punk kids used to wear them on denium jackets and the skinny ties and on our bandanas."
