41 CIS wannabe -MADE IN FRANCE - 13" CHOKER: 6 detailed enamelled cherubs hold up the massive 1/2" crystal pastes.The cherubs seem to be floating as they place the stars (rs) amongst the clouds (pearl).
The crimped settings, the fantasy theme and "Made In France" mark, without a signature could all be indicative of an early CIS creation. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Gold-plated base metal, shirt enameled in shades of red with white emanel highlights, clear pave set rhinestone shorts and Venetian,wedding cake glass bead "fish" and "water jug". Measures apporximately 3-1/8" x 3".
Excellent, excellent condition. The only wear noted is to the brass end caps of the wedding cake beads.
What's interesting is at first glance I thought the caps were not original since they are slightly different, but they are exactly the same as the picture in Brunialti's book.
