Karthik Weds Priya
July 1st 2002 was the auspicious day I got married to Priya. I arrived in Bangalore on June 28th early morning and I had to do my shopping in less than 2 days. It was fun, but hectic, very hectic. Thanks to all of them for making it to the wedding and blessing us. Enjoy some of the photos i have uploaded.

Varapooja (June 30, 2002)| Varapooja is comprised of 2 words - Vara and Pooja. Vara means the bridegroom and this occasion is the time when the bride's side welcomes the groom and the groom's parents and relatives. It id during this function that both sides exchange the invitations and also exchange the dresses they picked for groom and bride. At the end we go to the temple to seek belssings of God and end the day for the marriage on the next day. |
