Dog Yard (Fall, 2007)
We wanted a safe place for the dogs to potty.  Someplace they could get to and from on their own (especially if they are in and we are gone for a while).  We wanted something that looked good.  Most of all, we didn't want muddy dogs coming back into the house!

Wow. That looks cool. Logan and I need to get over there to see the new dog yard and the new dog of course. I'm sure Logan would love for the rats to all jump on him and lick his face!

Complete with a gate...
to let dogs in and out and to access the faucet.

We took out the middle wall partition...
so the dogs could pass through, and we could access the yard from the porch.

Pound-in edging helps retain the pea rock.
We chose pea rock because it is clean, and drains well.

Penny, Midnight and Monty check out the yard.
We have larger stones along the edges to help retain the pea rock and discourage digging.

Monty hopes daddy will let him out.
Pavers make a nice path from the faucet through the gate.

They miss the freedom, but the dog yard is safer.
