I'm working on a motocross/dirt bike theme for Kris' and Aaron's room. Since there is very little available for something like this, I am making a lot of stuff myself. :)

Great Job and thanks for sharing some neat ideas for decorating. I particularly liked the sprocket clock. - Lee Rogers, Mon, 6 Dec 2004 5:06AM
The bunk beds were fist to go... John and I are getting a Queen sized mattress set for our room (YEAH... SPACE), so we are putting the full sized in here. "AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!" View Comments...
Next, I brought in the book case from the family room... and put some bike stuff on it... this will be rearranged to fit more stuff, I'm sure!
I was scrounging around in the garage for another project... and found this sprocket! John had thrown the clock in the 'game room' into the trash earlier the same day... and I got to thinking... and I made a clock! :) "Really clever idea!" View Comments...
Neat bike replicas... will be found through out the room. This one found it's spot on a small shelf that Kris made in wood shop.
See, I told you... The bookcase got rearranged. I added a couple of storage boxes for odds and ends. These may just end up in the closet or stacked in a corner depending on what other cool stuff I find. Also, autographed posters, Kris' old helmet and a Honda ball cap can be found in this corner.
Two of my 'projects'... A rug with 'knobbie' tracks... I made the tracks with a piece of tire (the whole tire would have been hard to handle), and some thinned down acrylic paint... soaked the paint into the sponges, ran the tire across sponge, then on rug. Also a Racer X inspired decoupage trash can.
This is from a picture I took out back... I printed it onto a window cling, then used an overhead projector to shine the picture on the wall. I traced the stuff I wanted, then painted it in with flat black. VROOM! "Looks great there girl. Y..." View Comments...
This is the picture that I made the silhouette from... I cropped it, printed it, shined it, traced it, painted it. EASY!
The bed will be along the wall to the right... so the bikes will look like they are riding on the bed! LOL There is a lot more to come!!

FOX All of the pictures are cut out from old t-shirts and jerseys that no longer fit. Once I figure out how where to put them, I'll iron and sew them on.
Now that's bright! From one of John's old jerseys.
Dirt Bike picture frame From Whitehorse Press. With pictures of Kris and Aaron of course!
