Ice Storm, April 2003
Some pictures of the ice dumped on mid-Michigan.  I tried to get some pictures in the sunlight, but it was patchy and fleeting.  :-(  The sun made the ice on the trees sparkle like diamonds... it was beautiful.  A lot of areas were without power (and still are).  We were lucky... we just lost internet for 1/2 day and phones for a full day.

The weight of the ice had broken the tape in one place.  Good thing we have a back-up wire!
