Today, the 300th Honor Flight Mission will arrive at Reagan National Airport. This is US Airways flight 9090 from Greenvile/Spartanburg, North Carolina.
Our Heroes, members of one of America's Greatest Generations were met by a horde of Honor Flight Volunteers, The American Legion Department Commander Linden Dixon, The American Legion 17th District Honor Flight Coordinator Bill Strawsberg, American Legion Riders Northern Region Assistant Director Forrest Lingenfelter and a contingent of American Legion Riders to escort them from the Airport to the World War II Memorial.
