Workshop no 1, roof removed for clarity
View as seen when I had plenty of wood and solid fuel central heating.
Looking in from above, the wood was sycamore and ash.
View of the journey to work!
Workshop no. 1 full of junk and flowers.
Inside w'shop 1, only 30 tonnes of compacted glacial deposit to remove before I can cast the floor. When digging out the subsoil and levelling the floor so that it was below the level of my kitchen I realised that I was below the level of the 3 foot thick walls. Reinforcing slabs will have to be cast to support the walls.
There's always one! Actually there were 3 boulders in inconvenient places.
Tried crowbars, picks etc and it still wont move, let's hope the whole wall doesn't move with it.
I moved boulder by undermining it and then used a Tirfor.
It moved easier when it was in 3 pieces. "Is this from the Ladybird ..." View Comments...
Reinforced concrete retaining wall was needed as I had excavated up to 3 feet below the wall.
Reinforcing bars and A252 mesh were used in a C20 mix.

3 tonnes cast, 10 to go!
Casting the final slab. 29 bags of cement were used in this slab.
