San Diego Wild Animl Park Frequent Flyers is the free flight bird show and that is where I met the 'Secretary Bird'. She looks quite flamboyant and acts the part. She prays on snakes which she attacks with her feet to the head of the snake banging her claws into the front end of the reptile. Poisonous ones are her specialty.
I was lucky to be able to catch her with my camera during a single performance. I think I would have hired her, any secretary that efficiently eliminates the snakes in any office would be an asset!
