1 Monkey trail overhead and sky-tram in back. 2 Emerging from the cave! ... should he be hibernating?? 3 Boar kneels before entering the 'chapel'. :-) 4 5 6 7 8 Baby Giraffe 9 10 11 I forgot his name ... yea, these annoying memory lapses .... 12 Bonobo checking me out. 13 Orang Utan male has something in his eye ... 14 ... and keeps picking at it. 15 Another male is huddled up ... 16 ... I must have attracted his attention ... 17 ... and he either expressed his displeasure with the interruption or was just yawning ... 18 ... he seemed quite calm after the 'yawn' and exchanged some glances with my lens. 19 before returning to grooming. 20 21 22 A female picked up some food ... 23 'Let's check this morsel out' ... 24 ... kids are playing and ... 25 ... the hammock comforts another female. 26 Close-up of Tiger chillin' and checking me out. Eye contact it hard to get! 27 ...here with his brother, slightly hidden on left. Shortly thereafter they were 'sequestered'. 28 A. Evaluating me for food? B. The keeper left a large bone very close to where I was. Answer = B 29 Either triggers lip smacking anticipation. 30 Flamingos feed their young a very concentrated deep red 'juice'. You can spot the females who feed by their faded plumage. 31 No lack of red pigment here!! 32 Sheet-metal overhead monkeys mark the monkey trail. 33 While the celebrating may be over and 2012 actually began, I wish you a healthy, exciting and prosperous year.
