April Zoo
A busy Friday I focused on the Giant Panda, the Andean Condor, the Koalas and the Lion pair, some other creatures like Elephants and Polar Bear also make an appearance.
The only adult Condor at the zoo (there are many at the Wild Animal Park) gave an unusual opportunity to observe him feed.
The lions usually sleep and they did not much alter their behavior for me.
I had very good luck with the Koala's. If you have been to the zoo, you know that they spend most of their time sleeping, interrupted by eating, then back to sleeping. As you will see, I did get their attention and was rewarded by them actually looking at the camera, (go try that yourself!).
The new elephant mesa surprised me by showing a lot of prehistorical animals, with a tar pit that changes its "tar level" to reveal some mysteries. |
