Female Pictus Gecko

Name: Summer

Pictus geckos are a ground dwelling gecko from the coastal & scrub regions of South Madagascar. This species has several common names: Madagascar Big Headed Gecko, Madagascar Ground Gecko, Ocelot Gecko, Panther Gecko, and, of course, Pictus Gecko. I bought her from East Bay Vivarium on 3/11/06. She's quite tame and eats great.

Summer passed away mysteriously.

Very nice habitat. I am interested in learning more about it. My tank looks soo bleak. You also do a wonderful job photographing your gecko. Really nice website.

Excellent pictures! What a beautiful animal. I was just looking at a similar specimine at my local store.
