I've always wanted one of these Aussie beauties. My husband decided I should get one for Christmas. We bought him from a breeder in San Francisco, CA. These guys need to burrow in sand and that's the reason for my use of sand as his substrate. I normally wouldn't use sand due to the risk of impaction but since sand is part of his natural habitat, I decided to go ahead and use it. He's been eating and pooping normally since day one and is quite active. Watching him dig and make little caves is a lot of fun, I hope you enjoy his photos.
