I am glad you are doing well on the road to recovery  But I was wondering, maybe now I can race you in a 200 free, it might be the only time I might be able to beat you.

DAD IS HOME!!!  Dad came home a few days late, but home none-the-less!  He is looking great, eating well, walking and breathing.  It is so nice to have him back.  The nurses and Doctors at Cottage Hospital were amazing, so caring.  We have them to thank for his recovery!  Once again thank you for all your support and love.  Marco

Hi Jeff!  You look great!  Your kids must really love you, to put all these pics and video of you in a hospital gown on the internet for all to see!  Actually, they love you sooo much, as do all your adopted children... (ME!)  Love you, and continue recovering like the MADD cow that you are!!!!!  xoxo, Laura

Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery.

That Moo showed us all the old Jeff Farrell  humor is udderly indestructible.  Imagine a one word joke after a procedure like that. We love you in spite of your humor, Jeff.  Now, no doubt, you will set senior recovery records and we will love you in spite that, too.

Oh, Jeff, Lionel Rosenblatt's message about your surgery took my breath away.  As I swim outside each morning here in my new Cape Town home, I think of you and want you to jump back in a swim as quickly as you can.  The photos below show the beautiful love of your family.  Nothing more healing!  Lots and lots of love, Judy

It sounds like the old competitive juices still are flowing.  Don't wear out the floor with your walks.  Glad to hear you are doing well; missed you at the reunion.  I'd try some French but, after all of these years, I might say the opposite of what I intend to.

Aloha Jeff from Honolulu where the Humpbacks are just beginning to arrive from Alaska.  Great time to recuperate here and view some super whale watching. Merry Christmas (12/16/05)

Looks like dad may come home tomorrow, Saturday!!!  He is walking every day around the floor, 300 feet per lap.  He has decided that clockwise is not as interesting as counter-clockwise and has choosen to take a right turn outside his room today!  = )

We will know more soon, but it looks like the doctors want to kick him out of the hospital paddock and send him back to the home fields for recouperation......  Thanks again for all the love you have sent, it fills his room and overflows.......

Although a valve choice hadn't been made prior to my scheduled surgery, some family members were already trying out the pig jokes. So I find the things being written (and I assume said) to you udderly appropriate. Just ignore them all and hang in there Elmo! Regards and best wishes for a speedy comeback. Magoo

Jeff, glad you are recovering well.  Let this be a lesson to you, you should have been at the 50th.  It was the best ever.  Since this was a bovine valve, what is your cup size now?  (Clearwater, that is udderly bad.)
 -
Bob Clearwater, Thu, 15 Dec 2005 2:49PM
Jeff, I just got qa message from Bob about your recent surgery.  Glad to hear that the recovery is going well.  Get well soon and have a Merry Christmas.

Trop fort ! ! Nous t"embrassons du fond du coeur,
Marianne, Cyril, Chloé, Adrien & Ulysse

For an old guy just out of major surgery you look amazing.  Your message scared the s... out of me for I'm the guy out of shape, overweight, etc. not you. Well now that the tough part is behind you, you can expect a long and prosperous life.  Much  love from Poo and me to you and our SBA family.

Great photo!  Thumbs up back to you.  Somebody check between his toes to make sure no thin webbing was implanted between them.  Jerry

Jeff, you seem to be swimming through this recovery as if it were a Masters competition, and not surprisingly you are ahead of the pack. Congratulations!  Only thing is to be careful not to catch the mad cow disease! (I hope I am not exceeding the limits of the cow theme, which are broad knowing your sense of humor).

JACQUES TOLLIE, Wed, 14 Dec 2005 3:26PM
Dad is out of the Intensive Care Unit at Cottage Hospital after his heart valve replacement and triple bypass surgery on Monday Dec. 12, 2005.

He made it through surgery and the recovery in the ICU well with no complications.  He is now in the main hospital, starting on his road to recovery with breathing excersizes every 6 minutes and walking 4 times a day.

He called to wake me up with a big "MOOOOOOOO" this morning after having a bovine valve implanted..... I guess that the surgery did not cure him of this quirky sense of humor that we love.....

You can sign this guestbook or send him an email.  I will be printing out all emails to him and delivering them daily if you would like to leave a message or email him at: jfarrell@coldwellbanker.com

I can be reached at 805.455.5362

Thank you for all your prayers, good thoughts, emails, calls and concern

Marco

PS  If you were planning on sending a card, one involving cows would be appropriate if you were lost at the hallmark aisle.  We are starting a little cow theme for his cards.....  :)  mco
