The Wildlife of Australia is unique with many Birds, Animals and other Creatures that are not found anywhere else in the world. This folder is designed to bring you photos of Australia's unique Wildlife, as well as other species that I have photographed.
These photos were taken during a visit to Albany Bird Park, Western Australia. Apart from a few exceptions, the majority of Birds are native to Australia. A few flowers from the gardens at Albany Bird Park are also included.
Australia is home to many unique animal species which are not found anywhere else in the world. Among the species included in this album are the Koala, Kangaroo, Wallaby, Quokka, Pademelon, Tasmanian Devil, Tiger Snake, Goanna, Bobtail Lizard, Brushtail Possum, etc. which were photographed in Tasmania and Western Australia.
Australia is the home to more than 860 species of Birds as well as being the chosen destination of many migratory species who fly vast distances to visit our shores. This album contains photos of various birds including Parrots, Cockatoos, Emu, Raptors, and waterbirds such as Black Swans, Scared Ibis, Great Egret, Coots and various Ducks.
A collection of small creatures such as butterflies, moths, spiders, bugs, insects, etc. photographed mainly around my home or in other parts of Australia and also on Norfolk Island.
Enjoy wildflowers and birds on a nature walk through natural bushland amongst a variety of West Australian Wildflowers including Kangaroo Paws, Donkey Orchids, and Acacias, then watch the antics of the tiny Splendid Fairy-wrens and Australian Magpies near the Homestead.
