14 October 2010. This gracefully weeping tree was given the name ‘peppermint’ by early colonists because of the peppermint scent given off by crushed leaves. Its drooping habit has earned the tree its second common name ‘Willow Myrtle’.

Wheel Of Perth to stop spinning

The reason for the closure is the commencement of work on the controversial Perth waterfront redevelopment plans with a $250 million price tag as revealed by Premier Colin Barnett and Lord Mayor Lisa Scaffidi.

28 January 2010. The story is about the Mardjit (Snake) who in local mythology created the waterholes, the streams and creek beds. The waterholes show the changes during the different seasons. On the outer edges the colours are of skies and inner sections are of the land during different seasons.
