T-Rex Betavibe Pedal
T-Rex Betavibe Guitar Pedal w/ Box and Manual
This is a used T-Rex Betavibe in excellent condition. The Betavibe is handcrafted in Denmark. It offers a superb emulation of a vintage rotating speaker cabinet. It has a wide range of controls allowing for speed, volume, depth and mix as well as a ‘tap tempo’ speed mode. There’s also a Midi socket for external control. This pedal is also True Bypass!
We’ve tested this Betavibe and found it to be in perfect functioning condition.
The original box and owner’s manual are included.
From the web: Let Betavibe’s lush psychedelic swirl send you on a trip through the ‘60s and ‘70s. It accurately emulates the unique hypnotizing Doppler effect of a real rotating speaker cabinet, recreating the late 60's/early 70's psychedelic swirl that many players find elusive - like that dripping Phase-Chorused tone that made Jimi’s background sounds so epic. The unit includes a "Fast/Slow" switch which gradually speeds up or slows down the speed like a real Leslie unit. A midi socket is included for external control. All in one AC powered pedal! Features With the ”Depth”-control you can bend the sound to the extreme, whereas the ”Speed”-knob controls the modulation speed. Hit the ”Fast/slow” switch and your Leslie-speed will double, -exactly like a real Leslie rotor. Vintage Leslie/Chorus doesnt get any better than this. The MIX knob determines the amount of processed signal in the signal mix. • In Minimum position only the direct signal is heard • In Maximum position only the processed signal is heard. The VOLUME knob sets the overall volume. • At maximum level, the signal is boosted approx. 3dB. The DEPTH knob controls the depth of the modulation • In maximum position the sound is bend to an extreme almost pitch shift-like effect. The SPEED knob controls the modulation speed. The MODE button controls the works of the SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO footswitch. The SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO footswitch has 2 functions: 1. TAP TEMPO (works only with the MODE button in “up”-position) enables you to tap the modulation speed while playing 2. SLOW FAST (works only with the MODE button in “down”-position) lets you increase or decrease the modulation speed fluently, -exactly like a real Leslie rotor. Press the footswitch and the speed will slowly increase to the setting of the SPEED knob, press the footswitch again and the speed will decrease to the slowest speed of the pedal. The MIDI button controls whether the pedals should react on a MIDI signal (via the MIDI socket on the side of the pedal), or the pedal should react on manual settings on the SPEED knob and the SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO switch: • In “up” position the BetaVibe acts as a typical floor pedal. Knobs and footswitches can be used • In “down” position you can only via MIDI control following parameters: 1. TAP TEMPO (CTL. No. 22) 2. SPEED EXPRESSION PEDAL (CTL. No. 01) In “down” position the SPEED knob and the SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO footswitch is deactivated. The modulation speed is only controllable via MIDI. 3. ON/OFF (BYPASS) (CTL. No. 23) Controls: • MIX, VOLUME, DEPTH and SPEED. Modes: • MODE and MIDI External control: • MIDI IN Connections: • INPUT-Jack 6,3 mm. • OUTPUT-Jack 6,3 mm.
