T REX BetaVibe
T REX BetaVibe BetaVibe is a digital chorus pedal. This pedal is no longer made.
Features The MIX knob determines the amount of processed signal in the signal mix. - In Minimum position only the direct signal is heard - In Maximum position only the processed signal is heard.
The VOLUME knob sets the overall volume. At maximum level, the signal is boosted approx. 3dB.
The DEPTH knob controls the depth of the modulation In maximum position the sound is bend to an extreme almost pitch shift-like effect.
The SPEED knob controls the modulation speed.
The MODE button controls the works of the SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO footswitch.
The SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO footswitch has 2 functions: 1) TAP TEMPO (works only with the MODE button in “up”-position) enables you to tap the modulation speed while playing 2) SLOW FAST (works only with the MODE button in “down”-position) lets you increase or decrease the modulation speed fluently, -exactly like a real Leslie rotor. Press the footswitch and the speed will slowly increase to the setting of the SPEED knob, press the footswitch again and the speed will decrease to the slowest speed of the pedal.
The MIDI button controls whether the pedals should react on a MIDI signal (via the MIDI socket on the side of the pedal), or the pedal should react on manual settings on the SPEED knob and the SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO switch: - In “up” position the BetaVibe acts as a typical floor pedal. Knobs and footswitches can be used - In “down” position you can only via MIDI control following parameters:
1) TAP TEMPO (CTL. No. 22) 2) SPEED EXPRESSION PEDAL (CTL. No. 01) In “down” position the SPEED knob and the SLOW/FAST, TAP TEMPO footswitch is deactivated. The modulation speed is only controllable via MIDI.
3) ON/OFF (BYPASS) (CTL. No. 23)
